Thomas Allen Lucore, 70, of Erie, passed away on Thursday July 12, 2018 at Forestview Nursing Home. He was born September 26, 1947 to the late Thomas Edward and Rosemary (Meyer) Lucore.

Thomas worked as a pipe fitter at Hammermill Paper (International paper) where he retired after 32 years. Thomas served in the United States Army. He was stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Pipe Fitters Union, an avid hunter and outdoorsman, as well as a NRA member.

Besides his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lucore.  He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara (Kisiel) Lucore, two sons, Jason Lucore (Heather) of North East, Matthew Lucore (Kelly) of Millcreek, seven grandchildren, Callista Lucore, Bryan Lucore, Miranda Lucore, Emily Lucore, Madiline Lucore, Brooke Lucore and Darik Lucore (Kelly Williams), a great grandson, Kristopher Lucore, a sister Barbara Lucore and a close friend Rick Paske (Sandy) of Erie.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday July 16, 2018 at St. Boniface Church, 9367 Wattsburg Rd, Erie, PA 16509 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Military honors will follow. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 2816 Elmwood Avenue, Erie, PA 16508 or the Erie VA Activity Fund, 135 East 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504.
