Terrence "Bash" Maxwell was born on January 15, 1976 to Susan Swanson Roberts and the late John F. Maxwell. Terrence lost his fight to an eight year courageous battle with cancer on July 20, 2018 surrounded by his family and friends.
 
He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle. His pride and joy was his son Dana Michael an his daughter Nivyauna. He loved to cook and eat! He loved music and was a good singer. He also was a very good artist.
 
He was preceded in death by his brothers Dana Michael Swanson and Freddie Beason and his grandparents Ralph and Ruth Swanson. 
 
In addition to his children, he is survived by his mother Susan Roberts and his father James Roberts, four sisters, Tammy Tate (Robert), Brenda Calvin (Daryll), Stacy Allen and Tracy McKay, six brothers, Erik Maxwell (Elizabeth), Danny Allen (Sonja), Freddie Maxwell, Darrell Maxwell, Jerome Roberts (Cheryl), Jamie Roberts (Arlynda). He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Three nieces who did a great job as his caregivers are Carlee Duck (Chris), Alisha Swanson, and Shavonte Tate, two good friends Sue Parra and Natalie Young who also helped as caregivers. 
 
Relatives and friends are invited to call the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, Inc., 459 East 12th Street Erie, PA 16503 on Tuesday July 24, 2018 from 5:00 until the time of service at 7:00 PM. Burial will be private. Please send condolences to garrdavisfuneralhome.com.
