It is with great sadness that the family of Donald J. Trojanowski announces his passing surrounded by loving family, on Monday October 15, 2018, at the age of 71. He was born on March 25, 1947, son of the late Joseph and Eleanore (Bierasinski) Trojanowski.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen and Gary. Donald proudly served in the United States Navy where he received the National Defense Service Medal. He retired from Hammermill/IP Paper Co. after 35 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post #105.
Donald will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Janet (Reid) Trojanowski. He is also survived by his children, Ann Marie Gabler (Andy), Joanne Trojanowski, Joseph Buyers (Dana), Doug Trojanowski (Mary), and Karen Logan (Jon). Donald will also be fondly remembered by his twelve grandchildren and by his sister, Rosanne Meyer. 
Relatives and friends may call Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 695 Smithson Avenue, Erie, PA 16511 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in North East Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials may be made to St. Mark Church or Center for Autism Research at Children's Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Jan, Doug and Karen, although it has been many years since we got together, I am sad to see Don passed away. I remember we all had a lot of fun at the LPFC and how much he loved you all. Take care and sorry, to hear.
