Barry Thomas Hill (City Bank) of Erie, PA went to be with the Lord on November 14, 2018. He was born in Greenfield, Tennessee on April 28, 1961. He was preceded in death by his father James Henry Thomas, grandparents Ernest Rucker and Katherine Rucker, and a granddaughter, Katheryn Marie Hill. Barry leaves to cherish his memory his mother Lillie Mae Scott and step father Willie Nelson Scott. He is survived by two sons Barry T. Hill Jr. (Tanja), Timothy Hill, one daughter Sheena Hill of Erie, eleven grandchildren and one great grandson. In addition, he is survived by his sisters Katheryn Hill (Anthony), Diana Scott both of Erie, Lynn Thomas, Maria Thomas Haleman and Martha Ann Thomas of Rockford, Ill., Ladona Shane of Martin, TN., brothers Willie Scott Jr. (Jennifer), of Cleveland OH., Rickey Scott of Erie, PA, Michael Thomas of Rockford, Ill., and Courtney Shane of Martin TN. Barry was also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

 
Barry was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed playing pool, basketball, traveling, and his women. Barry loved spending time with his family at the many cookouts. In being well dressed, he always kept a crease in his pants.
 
A special thanks to Western Reserve for making his dream a reality to get back to the community. Thanks also go out to his special girls, Theresa Stovall and Tonia Schley for everything they have done for Barry and to all the administration and staff.
 
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday November 20, 2018 at The House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church 155 East 21st Street from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Michael Coles officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Professional arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Garr Funeral Home, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA 16503.
