Obituary

Jolae Sue (Robinson) Ropiecki, age 49, of Harborcreek, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Cleveland Clinic.  She was born in Erie on August 10, 1971 to the late John W. and Carol Sue (Hoenes) Robinson.

Jolae enjoyed rescuing cats, sunsets, reading, and dancing with her husband.  She also enjoyed making soups.  In addition to being employed by Industrial Sales, she also has managed the Huzar Club for the past 20 years.

In addition to her parents, Jolae is preceded in death by her sister, Johnette Kent Noble and her parents-in-law, Richard and Dorothy Ropiecki.

Jolae is survived by her husband, Jerome Ropiecki, daughter Andrea Nichols, son Ryan Nichols (Leah), son Brian Ropiecki (Megan), granddaughter Cambria Nichols, sister J. C. Robinson, sister JoyAnna Rebekah Argeny (Mike), brother John Robinson, sister Jodi Nan Cowan (Brian), sister Jodi Suchar, sister Emily Kraft, sister-in-law, Elaine Gilcrist (Mike), brother-in-law William Ropiecki (Lydia), and several nieces and nephews, as well as several close friends.

Following all Covid-19 guideline, visitation will be on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Edward J.  Garr Funeral Home, 459 E.  12th St. Erie, PA 16503, and again on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at St. Stanislaus Church, 516 E. 13th St. Erie, PA 16503 from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass at 10:00 am.  Family and friends may also attend the service virtually via Facebook Live at https://www.facebook.com/Edward-J-Garr-Funeral-Home-Inc-100130284712299  Burial will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
