Obituary

Terail Bennett, age 42, of Erie, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at UPMC Hamot.  He was born in Erie July 6, 1978 to Sylvester Quinn and Yolanda Bennett-Hull.

Terail was a member of Christian Minisistries where he served as an usher and faithfully served in other areas of the ministry.  He enjoyed basketball, going to the gym, and a huge San Francisco 49ers fan, but most of all loved his family and friends.  He was known for his infectious smile that lit up the room wherever he went.  He had a unique way of making people feel good.

Terail is preceded in death by his sister, Yoleena Hull, maternal grandparents Willie Stevens and Johnnie Mae (Bennett) Butts, and paternal grandparents Ado and Annie (Hawkins) Quinn, Sr.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Kentaji Bennett and Ezekiel Gonzalez, daughter Nyella Blanks-Bennett, step-mother Amy (Hollsinger) Quinn, step-father Floyd Hull, Sr., brothers, Donrail Quinn, Monrail Quinn, Jerail Quinn, Shawn Easter, Floyd Hull, Jr., Mario Hull, sisters McKenna Quinn, Marquetta Nicholson, Charia Brooks, Melinda Hull, Sonya Hull, and Jamie Hull, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Following all current Covid-19 guidelines, visitation will be held at Christian Ministries Church, 930 Liberty Street, Erie, PA 16502 on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00.  Family and friends may also attend the service virtually via Facebook Live at  https://www.facebook.com/Edward-J-Garr-Funeral-Home-Inc-100130284712299 or https://www.facebook.com/CMAFChurch.  Burial will follow at Erie Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
